Who we are

We first began meeting at Columbia Crossroads and you can read about their History on their website . However, God has done Amazing things in our midst to bring us to where we are as a Church in Dutch Fork. In October of 2003 Thomas Yarborough met with Jeff Shipman and begin to share his heart to once again pastor but to be apart of a true New Testament work. As the vision of a Church that promises to Reach, build relationships and release resources was shared it was apparent that they were on the same page. God began to make it very clear that there was to be a new work in the Dutch Fork Area that would engage that area with the Gospel and bring reconciliation to the Community. In May of 2004 a group of initial folks whom God had burdened for this work joined with Jaye Morgan and the former Grace fellowship. They decided to lock arms in order to see God create a Body of believers truly committed to see God's Church in this area! After only 12 months there are now 115 members meeting and seeking God. The Lord has led us to an incredible piece of property off Koon Road in which we will purchase the land and soon begin building. Until that time, we will be meeting at:

Church at Dutch Fork
( Formerly The Potter's House)
3931 Broad River Rd
Columbia, SC 29210.
803-708-4811

We meet at 9 a.m. in the sanctuary
for Equipping Hour, studying Spiritual Warfare.
The Worship service begins at 10:00 a.m.
The most important thing however is that God is building HIS Church.
